LAWRENCEVILLE -- As it goes in the minor leagues, today's Gwinnett Braves lineup was still in flux Wednesday afternoon, but it's a roster with a mix of speed and power.
Todd Cunningham and International League batting champion Jose Constanza combined to steal 43 bases a season ago and IL rookie of the year Ernesto Mejia hit 24 home runs. Third-baseman-turned-outfielder Joey Terdoslavich is back after a spring where he hit .395 and Tyler Pastornicky returns to the minors after starting 2012 on the Atlanta Braves roster.
It's a combination of guys still chasing their first big-league chance and others trying to claw back.
"We have a lot of older, experienced players, we've got young players that are on the cusp," Gwinnett manager Randy Ready said. "Everybody knows the drill, Being 36 miles from Atlanta, everybody should be prepared and should take care of their business and should have good performances."-- Ben Beitzel
