Bears' Bell, Fore commit to college programs

Mountain View seniors Joey Bell and Peyton Fore have made recent commitments to college baseball programs, upping their team's list of seniors committed to college programs to five.

Bell, a shortstop and pitcher, made a commitment to Berry College. The right-hander has a 7-6 career record with 61 strikeouts to 33 talks and a 2.32 ERA. As a hitter, he has 19 career RBIs.

Fore, a four-year starter at second base, is committed to Truett-McConnell. He has a career .320 batting average and holds career records for singles (75), runs (68), stolen bases (27) and walks (43). He also is second in school history in career hits (83) and fourth in RBIs (36).
