Mrs. Althea Chavez Griffiths, age 62, of Auburn, GA passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012. She is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Robert L. Griffiths, Auburn, GA; sons and daughters in law, Travis and Veronica Griffiths, Auburn, GA, Mitch and Regina Griffiths, Auburn, GA and Brandon and Holly Griffiths, Tehachapi, CA; six grandchildren; seven sisters, Andrea Woods, Wells, NV, Eva Peavey, Wells, NV, Antonia M. Villalobos, Wells, NV, Elvira Ordonez, Pleasant Valley, NV; Yolanda McDade, Lee, NV, Adela Morrison, Wells, NV and Dora McCabe, Spring Creek, NV; and brother, Mike Escamilla, Wells, NV. Mrs. Griffiths was born December 20, 1949 in Wells, Nevada. She was a 1967 graduate of Wells High School. She was manager of O’Reilly Auto Parts in Winder, GA and a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church. Memorial service will be Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 4:30 p.m. until time for the service. Interment will be Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Wells Cemetery in Wells, NV.
