Mr. and Mrs. Terrel Strickland of Newnan, announce the engagement of their daughter, Linsey Samantha Strickland of Temple, to David Patrick McEntee of Temple, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles "Bud" Stewart McEntee of Snellville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Jordan of Griffin and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Strickland of San Angela, Texas. She is a graduate of Newnan High School, Georgia Southern University and West Georgia University, where she received a master's degree. She is employed with the Douglas County School System as a teacher.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Fred and Jane Ann Muncher and the late Virginia McEntee and is a graduate of Brookwood High School. He is employed with Foundation Financial.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 12 at Bulloch Springs Manor in Dallas.
