Mill Creek senior Kelsey Griffin was announced Thursday as the Touchdown Club of Atlanta's lineman of the week for his play last week in a win over Peachtree Ridge.
The 6-foot-3, 290-pound defensive tackle will be honored at the club's Monday meeting, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Hudson Grille on Peachtree. Fox SportSouth announcer Bob Rathbun is the event's featured speaker.
Other honorees are Johns Creek's Skye Overton (back of the week), Riverwood's Robert Ingram (coach of the week) and Riverwood (team of the week).
