NORCROSS -- A Wednesday night fire at a vacant quadruplex near Norcross is under investigation, officials said.
Firefighters responded at 8:25 p.m. to the four combined residences in the 2100 block of Mitchell Road, where they found smoke and fire in the attic.
The fire was quickly extinguished, said Fire Department spokesman Lt. Colin Rhoden.
"Because the structure was vacant, fire investigators were called to the scene," Rhoden said.
No injuries were reported. An investigation continues.
