LILBURN -- Police have charged a Lilburn man with allegedly possessing thousands of images of child pornography.
Gwinnett police found the cache of images at the Meadow Grove Way residence of Thomas Edvalson, 24, according to arrest warrants.
The images depict minors in lewd positions and engaged in sexual conduct, the warrants state.
Warrants charging Edvalson with felony possession of child pornography were issued last week.
Edvalson was booked Monday at the Gwinnett County Jail, where he remains without bond.
He's scheduled to appear at a probable cause hearing Oct. 2 in Gwinnett Magistrate Court, records show.
