Gwinnett County police were working a five-vehicle fatal accident on Beaver Ruin Road during Monday's afternoon rush hour.
Police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said at about 6 p.m. that accident investigators were still working the crash on Beaver Ruin Road at the bridge over Interstate 85, which involved four cars and a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle, identified only as a 38-year-old white male, was killed during the incident.
Several drivers and passengers were also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Smith said.
Smith said traffic was "severely affected" during Monday's rush hour.
