SNELLVILLE -- Eastside Medical Center will host a local physician next week to discuss family medicine.
Dr. George Rafeedie will speak at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the Snellville Senior Center as part of Eastside's "Health to You" program. Officials said he will discuss the topic of "What is family medicine and how do family medicine physicians differ from other disciplines?"
Rafeedie completed his internship and residency in family medicine at Mercer University Medical Center of Central Georgia, and also has completed a fellowship in alternative medicine. He has received additional training in geriatrics as well.
