COLLEGE PARK (AP) — Police in College Park say someone fired from one car into another car on Interstate 85, killing one person and wounding another.
Police said the shooting happened about 3:30 a.m. Sunday near Old National Highway. The car that was fired upon crashed after two of the four men inside were hit.
Detective Jeff Hightower said one of the men in the car said they had just left a nightclub in Decatur, but he reported there had been no altercation at the club.
The names of the shooting victims have not been released. Police are asking for anyone who was in the area of the shooting when it occurred to contact them.
