LAWRENCEVILLE -- The Gwinnett County Health Department will offer flu shots at the Gwinnett County Fair on Friday.
The health department will be administering shots at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds, 2405 Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville, from 5 to 10 p.m. They will be set up in the exhibit hall.
"Receiving an annual flu shot is the best way to protect you and your family against the flu this season," said Karen Shields, the health department's public information officer.
Payment options include cash, debit and credit cards, Medicare, Medicaid and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia. United Healthcare and Cigna will also be accepted for state employees.
