- Jordan Ramey, South
- Justin Brownlee, Central
- Myles Autry, Norcross
1080 total votes.
Brookwood running back Josh Brown won online voting this week as the Daily Post's Fans Choice Player of the Week.
The junior running back got 45 percent of the vote to win a competition with Norcross' Myles Autry (26 percent), South Gwinnett's Jordan Ramey (19 percent) and Central Gwinnett's Justin Brownlee (9 percent).
Each week during the football season, the Daily Post will nominate four players for its Fans Choice Player of the Week. Online voting at www.gwinnettprepsports.com will begin Monday mornings and will end Thursdays at noon. The winner will be featured online and in the Friday print edition.
Brown earned the honor after rushing for 243 yards last week to lead the Broncos to a 31-21 win over Mill Creek.
"He's a big, strong kid," Brookwood head coach Mark Crews said of Brown. "He gives us a good 1-2 punch back there with Jamaal (Cole). They're a good complement to each other. Josh is a good blocker and he showed what he could do at tailback when Jamaal was banged up the other night."
