LAWRENCEVILLE -- A Lilburn man was arrested last week for allegedly robbing a local cellphone store, marking his 19th arrest in Gwinnett County since 2003.
Frankie Lee Wright, 26, was arrested last Friday and charged with armed robbery and first-degree burglary, both felonies. Gwinnett County jail records show he is being held without bond.
According to warrants issued by Gwinnett police, Wright is accused of robbing SI Communications -- a cellphone dealer at 3375 Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville -- on the afternoon of Oct. 25.
"The defendant came in the store and held the employees at gunpoint while he stole money and cellphones," the warrant said.
A full incident report was not immediately available Wednesday.
County jail records show last week's arrest was Wright's fifth in Gwinnett since July 2011, and his 19th since 2003. Wright was most recently arrested in April, on charges of criminal trespass, loitering and prowling and disorderly conduct.
Other charges from various arrests include theft by deception, theft by receiving, theft by taking, driving without a license, marijuana possession, probation violation and giving false information.

So I guess he's actually going to have to cause severe injury to someone, or death, before he serves real time?

Yes, that is how it works. Prosecutors are covered up, courts are backed up and the jails are bursting at the seams.

Obama robbed us of 5 trillion dollars without a gun, just a smile and some special words. He probably would support Obama if he could vote just because he is black. The majority of black people will support Obama no matter how bad things are simply because he is black.

Gwinnett Court records show some of these highlights 10/12/11: theft by taking/theft by receiving/theft by deception - pled to guilty to 2 of the 3 charges on 7/30/12. 5 years probation as first time offender. 4/17/12: crim. trespass/prowling/harassing phone calls 9/7/12: armed robbery/ 9/10/12: burglary/ armed robbery/kidnapping/aggr. assault/weapon during crime Assume these two are for the phone store robbery.
Recap. 19 arrests since 2003. Plead guilty 6 weeks ago for a crime a year ago as a first time offender and now ups his activity from theft to armed robbery and in the meantime, also got arrested for harrassing/trespassing and prowling. Nice.

The Gwinnett County Office of the District Attorney may be a bit overworked but this is ridiculous. What does a hard working thug have to do to get a little attention? It's not like Mr. Wright hasn't been doing his part to be put away. Give a brother a break! It's obvious where he needs to be.

And this guy is still out on the streets? Sheriff Conway better get his house in order and fast. I guess this dude is giving some of his stolen money to the judicial system for leniency.
