Norcross catcher Griffin Helms was selected this past weekend to the Power Showcase All-World/All-American Baseball Team.
Helms, a junior at Norcross, will participate in the seventh annual Power Showcase, scheduled for Dec. 27-30 at the Miami Marlins' new ballpark. He will represent Georgia in the event's home run derby and will represent the U.S. in the All-World Baseball Classic, which features 20 top American underclassmen against 20 international players.
