Julian and Loretta Waters of Winder recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 8, 1962, at Union Grove Baptist Church in Auburn.
Julian is the transportation director for Gwinnett County Public Schools and Loretta is a homemaker. They have three children; Paul Waters, married to Donna, Julia Ann Stuart, married to Lee, and Philip Waters, married to Kristen. They also have nine grandchildren; Jonathan, Anna, David, Eli and Nathan Waters, Brianne and Drew Welch, and Ava and Noah Stuart.
They celebrated with family at a brunch at the Georgia Club.
