ATLANTA (AP) -- Atlanta police say they're stepping up patrols after a rash of carjackings in the city.
Police say that an investigation of the crimes leads investigators to believe at least three carjackings are connected.
Police say the suspects used a gun to carjack a woman on Memorial Drive Tuesday night. Other crimes took place on Glen Iris Drive and Bill Kennedy Way.
Investigators say the carjackers are using the stolen cars to commit more crimes.
