DACULA -- Keeli Waugh tossed four no-hit innings in Dacula's 12-0 win over Central in four innings on Wednesday.
Waugh (3-4) struck out seven Black Knights in her winning performance in the circle.
Katelyn Daniels led the Falcons (8-5-1, 2-1 Region 8-AAAAAA) at the plate with a 3-for-3 game, including a double, triple, RBI and three runs.
Katie McMillan went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, two runs and three RBIs. Sam Kates was 2-for-3 with a run and RBI, and Lexi McKnight was 1-for-1 with two RBIs.
SOFTBALL
Archer 1, Brookwood 0
SNELLVILLE -- Alesha Mann drove in Archer's lone run Wednesday, scoring Tahra Johnson in a 1-0 win over Brookwood.
Nani Cabrales (7-2) pitched seven innings for the Tigers (14-5, 3-0 Region 8-AAAAAA), giving up just one hit and striking out five in the win.
Johnson, Mann and Alliyah Williams all went 1-for-3 at the plate for Archer.
Berkmar 15, Meadowcreek 0
LILBURN -- Meagan Naraine and Rebecca Morgan fueled the offense for Berkmar (2-3) in a 15-0 win over Meadowcreek on Wednesday.
George Walton 8, Providence 5
MONROE -- Providence fell to George Walton Academy, ranked No. 5 in the state, 8-5 on Wednesday.
Katy Barry led the Storm (3-11, 2-4 Region 8-A) with a 3-for-4 performance that included an RBI and two runs scored. Jessie Kowalewicz had two doubles, an RBI and scored a run. Aubrey Gold was 2-for-4 with two RBIs, while MacKenzie Tuttle was 1-for-1 with a run scored and was hit three times by three different pitchers.
