LAWRENCEVILLE -- Anyone needing Gwinnett County Police Department records such as police and accident reports should go to the department's Lawrenceville headquarters, following a recent revamp of the lobby.
The headquarters's "Records Window" is now accessible to the public between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, said Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. Edwin Ritter.
The Gwinnett police headquarters is located at 770 Hi Hope Road in Lawrenceville.
The building's lobby closed to the public in March for renovations and was recently completed. Central Precinct on Satellite Boulevard in Duluth was used temporarily during the renovation.
"It's no longer necessary to retrieve records from that location," Ritter said.
