Ezra E. “Buddy” Vinson, aged 64, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012 after a brief illness. He was a long time resident of Duluth, Ga. Buddy was an avid outdoorsman, gardener, supporter of The Boy Scouts of America and the Georgia River Network. He was a wonderful husband, father and friend. His legacy will live on in the kindness he showed others, the many projects he helped friends finish and the joy with which he lived life. Buddy is survived by his wife, Sandra Vinson, his son Andrew Vinson and a loving extended family that includes his many friends. A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life at the Bill Head Funeral Home Duluth Chapel on Tuesday, September 4th. Visitation with the family will be held at 5:30, with the service at 6:00.
