Nell Cudlipp Lester, age 89 of Auburn, GA, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on October 25, 2012. Nell was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Nick. She is survived by her six children and their spouses, Nick and Boots Lester; Marlon and Nell Cook; Richard and Sandy Lester; Bo and Elizabeth Turner; Marilyn Lester; and Jack and Barbara Enter. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 12 great great-grandchildren as well as her brother-in-law Henry Williams and sister-in-law Jean Cudlipp. Nell epitomized the excellent woman as described in Proverbs 31. She was indeed a rare jewel. Her physical beauty was only surpassed by her inner beauty which radiated kindness, wisdom, and grace. Possessing a gentle and loving spirit, Nell exemplified compassion and unselfishness, always looking after the needs of her family and others, not her own. She clothed herself with dignity and strength. Her husband adored her; and her children and their families desire to “rise up and bless her.” Many women have done virtuously, but she excelled them all. “Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised” (Proverbs 31:30). In honor of Nell and as requested by her, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 Source Code: IIQ040799001 Her life will be celebrated, yet her absence will be mourned on Saturday, October 27th, 2012 at 2 PM in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev.
