Daniel Patrick “Pat” Stewart, age 49 of Monroe, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Loganville. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Monroe. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Roberts Stewart, and his son, Daniel Patrick Stewart, Jr., both of Monroe; Parents: Beverly & Don Stewart, Conyers; Brother: Greg Stewart, Eatonton; Sisters & Brother-in-law: Kelly Stewart, Conyers; Stacey & Craig Lowe, Jackson; Mother-in-law & Father-in-law: Mary Rae & Ted Schmidt, Diamond Head, MS; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law: James M. & Susan Roberts, St. Simons Island; Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law: James M. & Jeannie Roberts, Murfreesboro, TN; Nieces & Nephews: Toni, Reese & Fisher Lowe; Sydney, Ansley, & Riley Stewart; Sidney & Madeline Roberts. Pat built his career in the golf course and turf management industry, with more than 30 years of experience. He most recently was employed by the Chattahoochee Turf Products Company. Pat loved being on the golf course early in the morning and late at night. He gave his all to his profession, while giving his life to the Lord. Pat loved all sports, especially when they involved his star player - his son. Always giving and willing to lend a hand, Pat was a fierce member of the George Walton Academy Bulldog Nation. He was a devout Christian, raised in the word of the Lord and throughout his journey in life. Pat reached out to many by sharing his faith and leading several friends and co-workers to a relationship with Christ.
