Amy F. Lin and Michael J. Strong were married Sept. 16 at Chateau Elan. The Rev. Thomas Johnson officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bing Lam and Mei Lin of Duluth. She is a graduate of Emory University and is pursuing a doctorate from Tulane University.
The groom is the son of Larry and Jung Strong of Flint, Mich., and is a graduate of Kalamazoo College. He is also pursuing a doctorate from Tulane.
Helen Uong served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Maple Zheng, Lily Huang and Xiaolei Chen.
Thomas Strong served as the best man. Groomsmen were Alex Lam, Timothy Kaselitz and Patrick Krajacic.
After a honeymoon in Australia, the couple resides in New Orleans.
