ATHENS -- With a time of 19 minutes, 40 seconds, Tayler Tuttle led Providence Christian to a Region 8-A cross country championship with a first place finish at Athens Academy.
Along with Tuttle, four of the Storms five runners finished in the top-10 at the region meet. Ellie Thomas finished fourth, Hannah Grice took eighth, Emily Swanigan finished 10th and Rebekah Bullard rounded out the race in 20th as the girls team qualified for the state cross country meet.
The Providence boys finished their season with a sixth place finish.
