SUWANEE -- Two years after the then-9-year-olds from Buford and North Gwinnett met in the semifinals at Duluth, the Bulldogs this time avenged their double overtime loss.
Touchdowns from Kameron Brown and quarterback Josh Rose helped 11-year-olds from North to a 15-6 come-from-behind victory to stay undefeated. It was the first loss of the season for Buford. Rose's score was the only touchdown of the second half as North score 15 unanswered points.
Both teams clinched their division championships and began the playoffs this weekend.
