LAWRENCEVILLE -- In an effort to assist the Atlanta military community as they transition into the civilian workforce, select Home Depot locations will host six Civilian Career Workshops Oct. 27.
Home Depot's human resources department in collaboration with veteran associates will conduct half-day sessions focused on job search strategies, resume optimization and interview tips that are applicable to most industries and employers.
The workshops are open to any member of the military or veteran transitioning to any civilian career.
One of the workshops is scheduled to be held at The Home Depot in Lilburn at 4121 U.S. Highway 78.
It runs from 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 27.-- From staff reports
