LAWRENCEVILLE -- A Remembrance Benefit Concert, Jewels from Heaven, is scheduled for Oct. 26 at 550 Trackside in downtown Lawrenceville. The event is in conjunction with Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.
Scheduled for 6:30 to 10:30 p.m., the gathering will feature live music, dinner, a silent auction and raffle.
In 1988, Ronald Reagan declared October to be Infant Loss and Awareness Month.
A keepsake will be given to parents that have lost a child. The event is for the community to support parents who have experienced the loss.
Money raised will go to LIGHT, an organization which supports HIV/AIDS orphans in Chennai, India.

Buford ACE hits milestone
BUFORD -- To mark 25 years in business, the ACE Hardware at 4300 Buford Drive is holding a Classic Cruise-In and Show Nov. 10 at the business.
The event, which is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature modifieds, vintage cars, street rods, classic drivers, muscle cars, motorcycles and rare rides of all kinds.
In addition, oldies DJ Mark Joseph will be there. There are door prizes and a silent auction as well.
There is a $5 cruising fee and an optional $20 judging fee. It's $75 per parking space.
All funds raised will to support the North Gwinnett Food Bank Co-Op.
