LAWRENCEVILLE -- The Archer High School PTSA is sponsoring an education summit on Monday. Topics include the eCLASS initiative, the Gwinnett Online Campus and information about Amendment One -- the constitutional amendment concerning charter schools.
The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the theater at Archer High School, 2255 New Hope Road, Lawrenceville. Guest speakers include Ginger O'Neal, associate principal at Gwinnett Online Campus, Matt Waymack, director of the eCLASS initiative and Rick Cost, chief financial officer of Gwinnett County Public Schools.
Other speakers include Carole Boyce, Gwinnett County School Board vice chairman, and Tom Wilson, director of governmental affairs from the Georgia Department of Education.
The education summit is funded by Archer High School's PTSA and will be informational, providing awareness to the PTSA general membership. For more information, email archerptsa@gmail.com.
