LAWRENCEVILLE -- A Gwinnett grand jury this week indicted a 63-year-old Lawrenceville woman on charges she fatally shot her husband in July.
Hannah Chung faces counts of murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony in the death of her husband, Young G. Chung, 64.
Authorities said the Chungs lived together in a Park Grove Drive home off Cruse Road. Officers and paramedics responded to a cardiac arrest call at the residence the night of July 21, where they found the victim dead from a gunshot wound to his head, police said.
An arrest warrant for Chung indicates the murder weapon was a Smith & Wesson revolver and that her husband was shot once in the back of his head.
A motive for the killing has not been released. Gwinnett police officials said in July they had no record of responding to the Chung residence.
Chung remains jailed without bond.
