Hebron sweeps into second round behind Murray

DACULA -- Hebron Christian got a big night from Eden Murray to sweep King's Ridge 25-10, 25-8, 25-18 in the first round of the Class A state volleyball playoffs Thursday at home.

Murray finished with 12 kills and four blocks, while Bridgette Oduro added a team-best 13 kills to help the No. 6 state-ranked Lions (36-11) move on to the second round, where they will play host to either First Presbyterian Day or Calvary Baptist next week.

Alli Johnson also contributed seven kills and three blocks, while Anna Katherine Wilson dished out 35 assists and added three service aces, Madi Grace Easterling had eight digs and Courtney Civelli finished with seven digs.
