Gwinnett Daily Post
Gwinnett swept the Atlanta Falcons' weekly community award winners this week, with Parkview's Cecil Flowe, Duluth's Kyle Wilkerson and the Lilburn Titans' youth program each getting an honor.
Flowe was selected as the Falcons' high school coach of the week after last Friday's victory over Dacula, which made the Panthers 5-1 on the season and kept them in first place in Region 8-AAAAAA. He will receive a $1,000 grant for the Panthers' athletic department from the NFL Youth Football Fund and an autographed football from Falcons head coach Mike Smith.
Wilkerson was picked as the club's Captain in the Community, which recognizes players who demonstrate strong leadership skills on and off the field. His award also earned a $1,000 grant for the Wildcats' athletic department.
The 10-and-under Lilburn Titans were honored as the youth team/cheer squad of the week and earned a $1,000 grant for their youth program.
