Gwinnett Daily Post
Any ladies out there not afraid to get tackled, in their underwear, in front of a few thousand people?
Clear your schedule on Nov. 10.
The Lingerie Football League -- where teams of scantily clad women play 7-on-7, full-contact football -- has announced an open tryout date for its new Atlanta franchise, which will host games at the Arena at Gwinnett Center next year.
A "football combine open tryout" for the Atlanta squad will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 10 at Score Indoor Sports in Fairburn. Those interested in trying out are asked to arrive at noon in "athletic gym attire."
Potential team members will be judged on speed, agility, strength and focus, the LFL said.
The Atlanta franchise, which has not yet been named, will host games in Gwinnett on April 13 and May 18 of next year.
The league is accepting suggestions for a team name through Friday. Proposals can be submitted to LFLinAtlanta@lflus.com.
