Johnson -- Brown

Donna Raye Johnson and James Michael Brown were married June 9. The Rev. Jim Landis officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Virginia Johnson of Lilburn and the late Albert R. Johnson Sr. She is a graduate of Berkmar High School, Oxford College of Emory University, Emory University, where she received a bachelor's degree in French and a master's degree in foreign language education. She also received a master's degree in French from Middlebury French School and a master's degree in romance languages from the University of Georgia. She is employed with Gwinnett County Public Schools as a French teacher.

The groom is the son of Dorothy Brown and the late Patrick Brown. He is employed with Gwinnett County Public Schools as a media specialist.

Frances Hall Kerce of Columbus served as the matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Dale Flanigan Roberts of Hoschton and Wendy Roberts Dawson of Braselton.

Crysta Anslie Flanigan of Rome, Eleanor Grace Brown and Sophia Janet Brown, both of Lawrenceville, served as flower girls.

Michael Andrew Brown of Lawrenceville served as the best man.

Groomsmen were Alan Paul Brown of Lawrenceville, David Foster of Charlotte, N.C., Shannon Lee Roberts of Auburn and Albert Raymond Johnson Jr. of Auburn. Richard Dennis Flanigan Jr. of Rockmart, served as an usher and Draden Aubrey Johnson of Grayson served as the ring bearer.

After a honeymoon in Asheville, N.C. and Abingdon, Va., the couple resides in Lawrenceville.
