DULUTH -- Need something to do with your kids this weekend? The Gwinnett Convention Center is open for a day of family friendly activities with some of the areas most talented children.
On Saturday, the venue is host to the inaugural Dynamic Kids Expo from noon to 6 p.m., exhibiting local vendors and talent.
"We're thrilled to showcase Atlanta's inspiring kids and finest children-focused vendors with the Dynamic Kids Expo," Dynamic Kids Expo founders Alisha Nesbitt, Cheryl Hasting and Latasha Bennett said in a release. "We understand families are looking for entertaining and exciting ways to spend time together and find a way to squeeze it in on their busy schedules. Our goal with the Dynamic Kids Expo is to provide quality entertainment and a unique shopping experience so that they can make the most of this fun-filled afternoon."
As for the talent portion, the Dynamic Kids Expo will highlight teen chef Kayla Saslow, high school singer Kirstyn Burkhalter, young clothing and jewelry designer Maya Shea Penn and 12-year-old turntable wiz DJ Priest.
Admission is $15 per person and children two years old and younger are free. Proceeds from the event will benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
