SUGAR HILL -- Gwinnett police charged a 25-year-old Sugar Hill man with public indecency and contributing to the delinquency of a minor after finding him naked with a teen near a neighborhood pool, authorities said.
The man told police he'd met the boy on the smartphone application "Grinder" and was under the impression he was an adult, according to a police report.
Police found the nude pair about 3 a.m. Saturday in a Toyota pick-up truck with foggy windows parked in a lot at the community swimming pool of the Oaks at Lanier subdivision in Sugar Hill.
Officers had been investigating a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area, the report states.
An officer ordered them to get dressed and step outside the truck for questioning, which is when the teen divulged his age. He was released to a family friend, the report states.
The elder suspect told police he did not question the teen's age because they'd met on an adult website. He was arrested at the scene and taken to the Gwinnett County Jail, where he posted $2,600 bond later Saturday.
Address records show the man lives in the subdivision but the teen lives about five miles away.
