SUWANEE -- A state-of-the-art eye care location that company officials said will serve patients of all ages is expected to open in Suwanee later this month.
Thomas Eye Group, which offers eye exams, glasses, contact lenses and LASIK, as well as medical, surgical and cosmetic services, announced Tuesday that it will open its ninth location in the metro area on Oct. 29.
Thomas Eye Group CEO Rod Roeser said the location is unique because it offers the latest in design techniques and diagnostic equipment.
The new office, located at 1120 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., was established to meet the patient demand for services in Gwinnett. The office is staffed by seasoned Thomas Eye Group professionals and board certified ophthamologists.
Dr. Jeffrey A. Carlisle specializes in comprehensive ophthalmic care, LASIK and refractive surgery.
Dr. Kenneth R. Neufeld is also an oculoplastic surgeon with specialized training in cosmetic and functional procedures around the upper face, brow and eyelids.
Dr. Jeri S. Salit, is a pediatric ophthalmologist, and Dr. Alan Brown is a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry specializing in pediatric and adult medical eye care.

Nick Masino, senior vice president of the Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development and Partnership Gwinnett, said the county is an ideal location for businesses looking to expand.
"The addition of this Thomas Eye Group location to the Gwinnett area contributes to the exceptional quality of life the community possesses," Masino said.
