LAWRENCEVILLE -- Medieval Times' Lawrenceville location will make a donation to the Winship Cancer Institute if it accumulates enough Facebook "likes" this month.
The "dinner and tournament" restaurant at Discover Mills mall has pledged to donate $1,000 to the cancer research center at Emory University "once attaining 4,000 local Facebook page 'likes' at facebook.com/MTatlanta." The group's "Fight for the Cause" theme comes during October, which is national breast cancer awareness month.
"The virtues of knighthood demand a commitment to the community," marketing and sales manager Katrina Stroup said. "Fight for the Cause allows the castle to give back, while simultaneously addressing an audience of passionate locals who wish to be involved in the community."
