DULUTH -- A day-long concert at the Southeastern Railway Museum originally scheduled for Oct. 20 featuring Willie Nelson and Band of Horses has been cancelled by promoters, museum officials said.
Those who have purchased tickets for the event will be refunded through the tour promoters by Oct. 21.
In the meantime, the Southeastern Railway Museum has extended an offer of free admission to concert ticket holders on Oct. 20.
"We realize that folks are going to be disappointed, and we want to reach out to them," said a news release sent out by museum staff on Monday. "Even though the museum was only a venue for the concert we thought it might help to give ticket holders something to do."
Anyone interested in more information about the cancellation or refunds should check the tour website at www.railroadrevival.com.
