AUBURN -- Three juveniles were unharmed during a home invasion robbery at their Auburn residence, authorities said.
Barrow County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Matt Guthas said deputies responded to the home on Wexford Way Monday morning. A "teenage occupant" told deputies that two males forced their way into the home through a downstairs door while she and two juveniles were in the house.
The youngsters reportedly secured themselves in a bedroom while the suspects pillaged the home, Guthas said.
"The perpetrators did not harm the occupants but did steal several items from the home during the incident," Guthas said.
Investigators are currently working leads, Guthas said. Officials believe the incident was isolated and "does not warrant additional concern for area homeowners," he said.
No further details were immediately available Monday.
