DULUTH -- A car show, pony rides, costume contest and concert by local high school musicians can all be found from 2 to 7 p.m. Oct. 27 during the city of Duluth's Halloween on the Green.
It's an event that Alisa Williams, public information director for the city, said has become "a popular family tradition in Duluth. We look forward to seeing all the families together with their children dressed up, having fun and spending quality time together each year."
The event will feature a concert by family band, Laughing Pizza. Admission to the concert is a canned food item for the local food bank.
Other activities at the Halloween on the Green include a Cat Cruise in Car Show to benefit Duluth High School's basketball program, kids zone with inflatables, rides and games, pony rides, face painting, craft activities, hay rides, trick or treat and costume contest. The gathering will conclude with a "spooky concert performance" by the Duluth High School Orchestra.
The event is located on the town green in downtown historic Duluth.
