WINDER -- Winder city officials are seeking qualified contractors to partially renovate an important part of the city's government infrastructure.
Officials recently posted a request for qualifications for the partial renovation of the city of Winder Operations Building at 25 E. Midland Ave. Sealed RFQs must be received by noon on Oct. 17 by the city of Winder Clerk at Winder City Hall (45 E. Athens St., Winder, GA 30680.)
Partial renovations "are necessary for the building to match the needs of the city of Winder," city officials announced.
The project is "lump sum," meaning all contractors submitting an RFQ should be prepared to conduct all the required construction activities outlined in the Architectural and Structural Construction documents, which are available online, officials said.
Of note: All RFQ submitters must attend a mandatory pre-submittal meeting at 2 p.m. Thursday at the 25 E. Midland Ave. property.
RFQs should include background information about the company, its employees and its experience with related projects and clients, officials said.
For further information, call the clerk's office at 770-867-3106. The RFQ's must be labeled "RFQ -- City of Winder Operations Building."
