Providence Christian senior Erich Stahl, entering his fourth season as a starter, made a commitment Friday to the Young Harris College baseball program.
Stahl, a pitcher and third baseman last season, threw a Game 3 complete game earlier this year in Providence's championship series win over Charlton County. It was the school's first-ever boys state title. The team also made the state finals and reached the Elite Eight in Stahl's first two high school seasons.
Stahl had a 2-1 record with a 1.15 ERA last season, striking out 25 batters in 24 innings. He also had three home runs and 13 RBIs at the plate.
