DACULA -- Coca-Cola merchandise, barbecue and a good cause -- all three will be available at Hebron Christian Academy on Saturday.
From 9 a.m to 4 p.m. Saturday, employees of Dacula's Hebron Baptist Church will host a fundraiser and silent auction on the campus of the church's school. The proceeds will benefit Vicki Trotter, a staff member of the church for 17 years who was recently diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, better known as ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease.
The benefit sale will include, among other things, a large and wide-ranging collection of Coca-Cola merchandise. The memorabilia is the personal collection of the beneficiary's husband.
Plates of pulled pork, beans, slaw, bread and chips will be on sale for $10 apiece. Those plates can be pre-purchased at Hebron Baptist Church through Thursday or on the day of the event.
For more information, contact Tracey Vande or Terri Pittman at tvande@hebronchurch.org or tpittman@hebronchurch.org, respectively.
The Hebron Christian Academy campus is located at 570 Dacula Road, Dacula.
