Wesley Witherspoon
Berkmar grad Wesley Witherspoon signed as a rookie free agent with the NBA's San Antonio Spurs.
The 6-foot-9 Witherspoon went undrafted after averaging 7.2 points and 3.7 rebounds last season with Memphis.
The small forward will be on the Spurs' roster when the team opens training camp this week.
Witherspoon is a 2008 Berkmar grad and led the Patriots to the Sweet 16 that season with a 23-6 record by averaging 18.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists.
