LAWRENCEVILLE -- If you're looking for a furry, four-legged stocking stuffer this holiday season, the Gwinnett Animal Shelter has an event for you.
Through Dec. 23, each animal can be adopted for a $30 spay/neuter fee, and the shelter hopes to reach its goal that every animal in the shelter would be adopted by Christmas.
The shelter will also have a pictures and cookies with Santa event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 15. Eight by 10 inch photos are available for $10 and CDs are available for $5.
The Gwinnett Animal Welfare and Enforcement Center is located at 884 Winder Highway in Lawrenceville. For more information, or to make an appointment for a picture, call 770-339-3200.
