PEACHTREE CORNERS -- An active senior living community that aims to offer a blend of independence, active lifestyle and safety for retirement is expanding its reach into Peachtree Corners.
Noble Village active adult community plans to celebrate a ground breaking ceremony Thursday at its future 5701 Spalding Drive location.
The event is scheduled to feature members of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, the city of Peachtree Corners and Gwinnett County government welcoming the business, which expanded from its Suwanee location.
Built on a location where a church burned down, business leaders hoped to "turn soothing negative into something positive for the community."
Tammy McGrady, director of operations for Noble Village, said the new location will offer "everything from housekeeping to laundry service to transportation and activities."
The Peachtree Corners location will offer cottage living, independent living, assisted living and memory care as well as 19 homes available for purchase.
