Gwinnett County's success in the state high school football playoffs has forced some adjustments to this week's high school basketball schedule.
Greater Atlanta Christian and Mill Creek have moved Friday games to Thursday because of their teams in the football playoffs. GAC will host Decatur for a varsity doubleheader beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday, while Mill Creek will play at Meadowcreek at the same time.
Meanwhile, the Brookwood at Parkview matchup scheduled for Friday now is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 8 with the varsity games beginning at 4:30 p.m.
The anticipated North Gwinnett at Norcross basketball games planned for Friday also have been postponed with both schools in the football quarterfinals. A make-up date hasn't been announced.
