LAWRENCEVILLE -- The Gwinnett County sheriff's fugitive unit has arrested a man suspected in an October shooting.
Sheriff's department spokesman Lt. Sean Smith said Monday morning that deputies arrested last week Anibal Pacheco-Molina. He was reportedly located at 4336 Windward Lane in Norcross, just over a month after he allegedly shot his victim in the right arm at another Norcross apartment complex on Terrace Club Court.
At about noon on Nov. 20 -- "after hours of research and surveillance," Smith said -- fugitive investigators followed Pacheco-Molina's trail to Windward Lane.
"Fugitive units surrounded the home until Molina and another man exited the residence and got in a white Nissan Maxima," Smith said. "While backing out of the driveway of the residence other units converged ont he vehicle and ordered the men out of the car at gunpoint."
Pachecho-Molina was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. The second man in the vehicle was released, officials said.
