Ralph "Bob" Schrage

Ralph Robert “Bob” Schrage, 78, of Dacula, GA passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 after a long illness. He was born in Quincy, Illinois on January 12, 1934. After graduating from high school he enlisted into the Air Force, where he spent twelve years serving. He was in the Air Force during the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Before his death he retired in 1997 from the X-Ray business after thirty-five years. Mr. Schrage is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Nancy Schrage of Quincy, Ill., and two daughters, Nanette Ruth Schrage and Leslie Ann Moore. He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia B. Schrage of Dacula, GA; son, Michael and wife Cathy Schrage of Hoschton, GA; daughter, Cara and husband Kenny Norton of Lawrenceville, GA; six grandchildren, Joshua and wife Robin Moore and Daniel Moore of Fredericksburg, VA., Samantha, Matthew, Mitchell and Marshall Norton of Lawrenceville, GA; two great-grandchildren, Hazel and Virgil Moore of Fredericksburg, VA; three sisters, Martha and husband Max Stewart of Hamilton, Ill., Mary Decker of Quincy, Ill., and Ruth and husband Ron Burling of Carthage, Ill., one brother; John Schrage of Vernon Hills, Ill., and many, many nieces and nephews and their families. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel. Burial will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park.
