SUWANEE -- Area schools will help usher in the holiday season at Suwanee's annual Caboose Lighting and Holiday Festival this week.
Music, hot chocolate, Santa and wish lists will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday on Main Street in Old Town. Choruses from Level Creek, Riverside, Roberts and Suwanee elementary schools will perform.
Parents are encouraged to bring cameras to capture children telling their wish list to Santa, who will arrive aboard a tractor-pulled sleigh and sit at the Burnette-Rogers Pavilion.
Cookies and s'mores will also be served at the free event open to the public.
