BUFORD -- Gwinnett police are looking for a man with dirty or greasy "mechanic's hands" they said robbed a gas station last week.
Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at about 5 a.m. Nov. 11 at a BP gas station at 2483 Hamilton Mill Road in Buford. The suspect, a white male, believed to be between 19 and 25 years old and about 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall, 170 to 190 pounds produced a silver semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from a cash register.
He left with $100 and fled on foot, Gwinnett Police Cpl. Jake Smith said.
A store clerk showed responding officers surveillance video of the suspect, Smith said.
Anyone with information on this suspect should call GCPD Robbery Unit detectives at 770-513-5300.
